The LANDSCAPE Seminar Programme is bursting at the seams with nearly 80 industry leading professionals speaking this year, with some of the best in the game making an appearance such as Cleve West, Matt Keightley, Lucy Hall, George Plumptre, Carolyn Willitts, Cormac Conway, John Wyer, Rod Winrow, Philippa O’Brien, Mark Gregory, Arit Anderson, Jonathan Snow, Huw Richards, Emma Mazzullo, and Andrew Fisher Tomlin. These are just a few of LANDSCAPE’s vast array of speakers covering a host of varying topics; there seriously is something for everyone this year!
LANDSCAPE is proud to announce that making its return for 2019, in association with The Landscape Institute, is Pecha Kucha 20×20. You may be wondering what PechaKucha means. It derives from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, it provides a lively and informal format to enlighten and inspire. The sessions will take place in the form of a series of presentations, where landscaping professionals will be showing 20 images, each for 20 seconds (hence the 20×20!). Presenters include; Andrew Wilson of the London College of Garden Design, Nicole Brown from Huskisson Brown, Jane Findlay of FIRA, Dan Hitch of WATG, as well as Armel Mourgue & Eugenia Grilli of Gillespies! This year’s topic is ‘Things that make me go “wow!”’ so prepare to be inspired and amazed. Join us for a drink on Tuesday 17th September 2019 at the Central Bar Area from 17:15.
Also returning to this year’s show are the ‘Meet the Designer’ sessions. Building on the huge success of 2018 programme, LANDSCAPE has worked with the most popular professionals in the industry to put together four unique and truly insightful sessions. Have you ever wondered how the biggest names in landscaping got to where they are today? This is your opportunity to get to know, and delve into, the lives of some of the most passionate Garden Designers. This year’s prestigious line-up features Jonathan Snow, Charlotte Rowe, Kate Gould and James Alexander Sinclair. The Meet the Designer sessions will be held at the on Wednesday 18th September 2019 at the Central Bar between 11:15 and 15:15 so come along, relax, and speak to some major names in the industry.
The LANDSCAPE Show will be open from 10am-6pm on Tuesday the 17th September, and 10am-5pm on Wednesday 18th September 2019. The Exhibition as well as the Seminar, Meet the Designer & Pecha Kucha sessions are all free to attend.
