Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 2019 has a new name that reflects its focus on celebrating summer at its finest. Offering a wide range of activities and events throughout the week, its a definite must see of 2019!
- Take part in a huge variety of workshops, from cookery to welling, floristry and foraging. Indulge in artisan food and relax in the sunshine to a lively schedule of musical entertainment.
- Take home ideas from the three garden categories. From contemporary to traditional, the world class Show Gardens are full of inspirational ideas to revitalise green spaces and boost your wellbeing.
- Attend expert talks and workshops – There’s a host of exciting talks and workshops at the festival, whether you’re keen to put your homegrown vegetables to food use or need a recipe for an upcoming dinner party. You will have the chance to see expert gardeners and food enthusiasts, such as James Wong, Melissa and Jasmine Hemsley and Gregg Wallace.
- Take the afternoon to wander through the hundreds of trade stands within the showground, offering an array of gardening products. Don’t miss the vast Country Living magazine shopping pavilion, which houses many artisans and small businesses with unusual gifts and indulgent treats on sale!
- Explore the Festival of Roses – The perfect place to find a gift for every rose lover. The Festival of Roses is a glorious sight to behind and showcases the Rose of The Year. New for 2019, the Roses Tearoom is immersed in colour and scent of beautiful roses.
- Fun for all the family – Exploring ponds to see what you can find in the interactive pond dipping experience. Create you’re very own flower crown with artist Mary Gilmore. Admire the bugs hotel or go on the hunt to find the Very Hungry Catapillar!
