Volunteering Matters Action Earth are offering grants of between £50-£250 to volunteers who would like to run environmental activities in Scotland’s green spaces. Applications are ongoing.

Heritage Lottery Fund update
The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has relaunched as the National Lottery Heritage Fund and re-packaged its grants. Although there are no grants specifically for parks there is now a strong emphasis on funding access to nature, and ‘natural and designed landscapes’.

‘Bags of Help’ scheme
Tesco’s ‘Bags of Help’ scheme is offering grants of between £1,000 – £25 000 to fund community projects, including play areas, allotments and school grounds. There are three funds depending on where the project is based and the size of grant sought. Applications are ongoing.
