Dr Rafal Gutakar, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew will take us into the world of herbarium genomics, where the riches of plant material stored within the world’s herbaria have contributed to large scale phylogenomic projects such as the Plant & Fungal Trees of Life among many others.
Dr Chris Cockel will take us beyond the familiar statistics of Kew’s Millennium Seed Bank to show us what the project has been doing in the UK.
